Fire and Security Service Sales BDM

As part of our continuing growth strategy R Security Alarms are now looking to recruit a Fire and Security Service Sales BDM.

R Security Alarms is a highly regarded, long standing company with a focus on providing excellent customer service since 1969 across the North West region.

Main duties:

  • To increase sales and promotion of R Security Alarms services
  • Initiate new business opportunities and grow existing client base to achieve monthly targets and maintain healthy margins year after year
  • Generate annual Service & Maintenance contracts for fire alarm systems, intruder alarms, access control & CCTV systems to a broad spectrum of clients (both commercial and domestic).

The ideal candidate:

  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Able to demonstrate good sales techniques in a professional and customer focussed manner at all times.
  • Self-motivated to generate new business opportunities and grow existing client base of R Security Alarms to meet targets set.
  • Able to secure contracts from individuals, FM companies, public sector organisations etc. for regular annual maintenance and service contracts. 
  • An awareness of various industry regulations and NSI Gold standards would be an advantage- Some basic training will be provided.
  • Have a self-start, hardworking attitude with the ability to work well within a multi-disciplined team environment.
  • Good I.T. skills including the ability to use Microsoft Office applications.
  • Hold a clean driving licence.
  • Able to travel within the North West and attend our Liverpool Office as required.
  • References and past sales history maybe required

The package:

Good basic salary and OTE potential of £40k+ to the successful candidate if monthly and annual sales targets are achieved. Fully expensed company car or car allowance is included, along with a company laptop and mobile phone for business use. 25 days holiday + bank holidays. Company pension scheme after successful completion of a probation period.
